Barbara Ehrenreich

Barbara Ehrenreich is a social and political activist. She is a widely-read columnist whose work has appeared in such publications as The New York Times, The Atlantic Monthly, and Ms.. She is the author of nearly twenty books, including Witches, Midwives, and Nurses: A History of Women Healers (with Deirdre English); Nickled and Dimed: On (Not) Getting By in America; and Bait and Switch: The (Futile) Pursuit of the American Dream.
